This is a collection of discussions on the deletion and merging of articles related to Entertainment. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.

Adding a new AfD discussion
Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
  1. Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
  2. You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Entertainment|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.

Delete. I am the subject of this biography and disclose that conflict of interest. The article is dominated by an indiscriminate catalogue of allegations and interpersonal/social-media disputes, including inflammatory child-grooming accusations and a criminal complaint that ended in acquittal. Much of this material relies on sensational or derivative coverage and is presented at a length grossly disproportionate to the subject's career. This creates serious WP:BLP, WP:UNDUE, WP:NOTNEWS and WP:COATRACK problems. A prior attempted listing in April 2024 did not produce a substantive AfD discussion; the article has since expanded substantially. A subject's preference is not itself a deletion ground, but if a neutral, properly weighted biography cannot be sustained from independent high-quality sources without this accumulation of controversy, deletion is the safest BLP outcome. At minimum, the article should be reduced to a short career biography and poorly sourced or nonessential allegations removed. DalasREAL (talk) 21:05, 11 August 2026 (UTC)reply

Keep - you clearly meet notability. However, I'd agree with you that the csm part should be stubified or removed per BLPCRIME - you were acquitted after all. I also agree that the article is not WP:NEUTRALly worded ("Denies the existence of Jesus", for example). However, see WP:Deletion is not cleanup - if you'd like to adjust the article, I'd suggest you submit an edit request and editors can assess. Concerns about WP:NOTABILITY per Wikipedia's definition, which is significant coverage in WP:RELIABLE sources. If not enough significant coverage in enough reliable sources, no article.

The sources currently in the article are:

  • lovin.co, which seems like a bit fluffy of a local paper in Beirut.
  • WP:DAILYEXPRESS, considered unreliable
  • Bookingagentinfo, which doesn't provide adequate coverage and doesn't count to notability
  • WP:NYPOST, also unreliable
  • NK News, which is probably ok and reliable for use here, but is the only one

Sources are routine coverage of release announcements and interviews, mainly consisting of what he has said about himself. Bunch of non-notable awards/nominations and none provide independent, in-depth analysis of the subject. Defunct comedy group with mentions primarily in local media. In prior 2009 AfD, author of the article stated, For an improv group, this is actually a rather large amount of print coverage (the sources aren't fleeting mentions, but instead actual article-length reviews). "For an improv group" is not a very good signal as a qualifier, and having looked at the archived sourcing (already archived on the company's website as clips), I don't think these sources are much. The article wasn't even expanded based on the available sourcing at time and hasn't since except to say it closed. There is at least one better source, The Denver Post, being the biggest paper in the state. I also found a piece in the Boulder County Business Report, which has the same problems as the other sourcing. WP:BEFORE search shows a large amount of routine coverage related to his work, much of it unbylined and some consisting of interviews. The sources are also very similar to the line of UPE articles that were previously deleted. I am unable to find a single in-depth profile on him by a credible author in an independent source.     That’s not an issue. I have no issue with any article being deleted. I cannot remember why I created an article in 2024 but I’m quite sure there are sources from 2018 to 2024, hence probably why I created it them but trying to say I’m an undisclosed paid editor (indirectly or otherwise) doesn’t sit well with me. The next thing, there’ll be a “private evidence” against me, lol. I just don’t have any personal “issue” against you, that’s what I’m driving at. Sources predating the film's release fail WP:NFSOURCES and the film was not widely distributed. A WP:BEFORE search returns only the two reviews already in the article. Keep - both sources, at least based on my quick check, are bylined, major regional news sites in Gujarat - and this is a film in Gujarati. seems to squeak through NFILM #1 Jishara (please ping upon response) (talk) 00:51, 3 August 2026 (UTC)reply
  • Gujaratfirst.com is certainly not a WP:GNG worthy publication. It is part of a relatively recent media venture (launched around 2021) under a private group and even its own About page is largely self-promotional, highlighting the parent company and its achievements rather than addressing editorial credibility or independence. The platform is also more focused on revenue generation and audience reach.
  • This is a 2024 film and if a recent release does not have reviews in reliable sources, then it is a clear indication of lack of notability. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 05:15, 3 August 2026 (UTC)reply
