I'm shooting my shot because I've had multiple occasions, including one within just the last few hours, when I had to wait for an administrator to delete a redirect so I could move a draft I'd been working on to mainspace. I'd like to cut out the middle human and be able to delete redirects by simply moving over them – certainly it would be one less addition to the admin workload. I admittedly don't have a ton of experience with requested moves, so I'll understand if this request is declined on those grounds.
