Roll call ending May 30, 2020

[edit]

You have been directed here by an email sent by a current DRN volunteer calling a roll call. If you remain interested in helping at DRN and are willing to actively do so by taking at least one case (and seeing it through) or helping with administrative matters at least once a calendar month, please add your name below. Individuals currently on the principal volunteer list who do not add their name below will be removed from the volunteer list unless the DRN Coordinator chooses to retain their name for the best interest of DRN or the encyclopedia. Individuals whose names are removed after May 30, 2020, should feel free to re-add their names to the list, but are requested not to do so unless they are willing to take part at least one time per month. No one is going to be monitoring to see if you live up to that commitment, but we respectfully ask that you either live up to it or remove your name from the list. — Galendalia CVU Member \ Chat Me Up 19:53, 13 May 2020 (UTC) DRN Volunteerreply

Please add your name in alphabetical order in this format: * {{User|Username}}

This honestly strikes me as unnecessary. We currently don't have a backlog to speak of at DRN, and the pace of DRN is such that I don't think it's reasonable to expect that there will be enough cases per month for every editor who wants to consider themselves a volunteer here to necessarily meet this quota. If we desperately need to keep volunteer logs up to date (which again, not clear that this is necessary to keep the backlog in check), evaluating participation over a 3-month, 6-month, or even year-long period would be more appropriate. signed, Rosguill talk 19:53, 17 May 2020 (UTC)reply

@Rosguill: That is the idea, however, this is a starting point as the list is from 2017 and some people may not be on WP anymore, or for some reason are no longer participating. Thanks for your valuable input! Galendalia CVU Member \ Chat Me Up 18:56, 18 May 2020 (UTC) DRN Volunteerreply
