Strange bug

Noticing something weird: this template seems to handle sub-$1 quantities in a way that makes no sense. Testing this out:

$1 in 2009 is: ($1.50 in 2025)
$0.50 in 2009 is: ($0.75 in 2025)
$0.01 in 2009 is: ($0.02 in 2025)
$1 in 1940 is: ($22.98 in 2025)

Added a switch that changes r=0 to r=2 if param 1 is less than 1.
