Please remove the usage section and replace it with the template as I've created a documentation subpage at Template:Grey/doc. A specific description of the request follows below. Thanks.{{Documentation}}
Change this:
<span style="color:gray">{{{1}}}</span><noinclude>[[Category:text color templates]]</noinclude>
To this:
<span style="color:gray">{{{1}}}</span><noinclude>
<!-- Add categories and interwikis to the /doc subpage, not here! -->

Change color
[edit]This edit request has been answered. Set the |answered= parameter to no to reactivate your request. |
From gray to #767, per WP:COLOR (The contrast ratio should meet at least the WCAG 2.0 AA standard of 4.5:1
, and gray's contrast ratio against an #fff background is only 3.95:1; #767 is the shortest compliant alternative which is not too dark like #666).
More specifically, change the first line so that
<span style="color:gray">{{{1}}}</span><noinclude>
becomes
<span style="color:#767">{{{1}}}</span><noinclude>

Not done. If there is an accessibility limitation, please modify the documentation to explain the limitation. A template called "gray" should render the color "gray". – Jonesey95 (talk) 18:17, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
