Background
[edit]This template was initially created for use on the article Caesar DePaço; for more information, see the article. It is anticipated that it may eventually have use elsewhere. Its sister template is the {{Talk legal order}} template, to use on article talk pages.
Usage

Optional parameters
[edit]- date – date, preferably in the form
9 August 2026 - scope – a description of the prohibited content. Care must be exercised to ensure that the description does not violate the order.
- note – a custom note,
- iw – a link to another Wikipedia edition, still hosting the removed content,
- lang – the language of this Wikipedia edition,
- iwtrans – translation of that another Wikipedia edition. If not specified, defaults to Google Translate,
- order – a link to a copy of the court order, if available,
- translation – a link to an English translation of the court order. If not specified, defaults to Google Translate,
- link – an alternative location for learning more, placed before the link to the talk page. Normally, this will be a WMF announcement at Wikipedia:Village pump (WMF).
- linktext – pipes the link so the raw pagename is replaced by a custom one
- link2 – same as above
- linktext2 – same as above, but for link2
- see also – an interwiki link
- see also2 – a second interwiki link
