| The content of Deep pressure therapy was merged into Weighted blanket on 23 February 2025. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. [edit]I do not have access to verify this content that I've removed from Comfort object. Keeping it here to include in this article if anyone can.
Weighted blankets have been used in an attempt to help improve sleep quality, particularly for children with autism spectrum disorder. However there is no good evidence to support this use and the use of weighted blankets carries a risk of harm, having in one case been responsible for a child's death.
