User:BDLegends1971 is a single purpose account who is trying to promote the subject and has uploaded some pictures which can only be collected by someone very close to the subject, e.g. image of Nazreen on the summit. Rht bd (talk) 17:42, 19 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

As far as I know, Wasfia lives in the United States of America. Like many in this country, I am a long-time fan, and I myself am from Bogura, Bangladesh, with no affiliation whatsoever with her. Many of us are working with the local wiki team and contacted her office for valid photos that we could contribute to Wiki Commons. The local team also contributed Wasfia's Everest photo from 2012, so where is the issue? BangladeshLegends71 (talk) 18:41, 19 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

If you are not the author of an image and got it from someone else via mail or any other means, you have to provide proof of permission of the original author. For example commons:File:Wasfia nazreen.jpg has been provided to Wikipedia by Wasfia Nazreen herself and the proof of permission is included in the file description (see the permission section).
