Sorry this took a bit, but I did promise I'd hit this one up. Will give a review hopefully very soon. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 18:14, 20 April 2025 (UTC)

Lead
[edit]- "In 2009, Block acquired WOHL and the Fox, ABC, and CBS affiliations in the market" I'm very confused what this sentence means.
- WOHL (Fox) and a bunch of affiliated low-power TV stations (ABC, CBS) were bought all at once. With digital, the whole grouping of channels was altered anyway, but in the transaction Block acquired the network affiliations aforementioned. Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 00:34, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Sammi Brie maybe clarify the wording to "affiliated stations" for clarity? I feel right now it may come off a bit confusing. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 03:20, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Pokelego999 They then moved the affiliations around (to wit: Fox from WOHL to WLIO). That'd be more confusing. Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 03:35, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Sammi Brie I am confused on how it would be. Could you elaborate? Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 03:39, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Pokelego999 I don't want to bring in two other stations into the lead section, which I think would be more confusing to average readers. (They've since been redeployed to areas north and south of Lima.) Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 04:24, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Sammi Brie It should be fine then. Happy to pass! Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 16:01, 21 April 2025 (UTC)

History
[edit]-Looks good
News operation and subchannels
[edit]-Is there any reason only two people are listed?
- Because they are the only notable ones with articles. Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 00:33, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
Overall
[edit]-Looks solid. Not much more to say, it's very well done coverage and prose wise.
Spotcheck
[edit]-Reviewed 14 random sources from the article: 48, 32, 45, 47, 16, 1, 54, 27, 33, 12, 42, 36, 35, 28. Can't check 16, 33 but assuming good faith. What is the reliability of RabbitEars? Source 28 also does not give any of the specified info on Bratton, only stating he has been arrested and associated information.
