The National Academy of Sciences and other sources give dob as 20 February not the 15th.

Contrary to that stated in article his move from Ohio State to Johns Hopkins was from a tenured to an untenured position which possibly provoked some discussion among his colleagues. Chrysippo (talk) 14:08, 29 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I've changed DoB to 20 Feb. based on the NAS source. The 15th was given in this reference:

Capinera, John L. (ed), "Dethier, Vincent Gaston", Encyclopedia of Entomology Vol. 3, Springer, 2008, pp. 1186-1187. ISBN 1402062427

I've also edited the JH bit to "before taking a teaching post at Johns Hopkins University where he taught from 1947 to 1958", thus leaving the tenure question open.
