Saying that the institution is "Baptist" is not the same as saying that it's "Baptist-affiliated." I think that you are underselling or misunderstanding the extent to which this institution's religious affiliation shapes its mission. ElKevbo (talk) 04:04, 6 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Have you not read anything about the university? I agree that the article is underdeveloped but that doesn't mean that we should mislead readers about the nature of this institution in the lead sentence. ElKevbo (talk) 04:11, 6 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

I disagree that telling readers the institution is Baptist-affiliated is in any way misleading - that page emphasizes "Christ-centered"ness, but the only mention of Baptist is the claim that it is Baptist-affiliated.
