Why I removed unsourced content

I agree that this article has been long overdue. However, virtually no sources were provided for its history or its connection to the Chumash people. The Chumash and Tongva people deserve to have their cultural traces recorded in Wikipedia, but the data need to be sourced responsibly or it just looks like fantasy and people can remove it. I'd hunt up the sources myself but Wikipedia has a backlog of about half a million pages that have serious source issues, if they even have sources. Noted, and thanks for your cleanup. I created that content on the fly as it were, and likely only included half of the similarly unsourced content that I had available. I was surprised the state beach wasn't long ago an article.
