[edit]Hello,
is it perhaps possible to link an audiofile with the sound of tin cry?

heard in other metals when heated
[edit]using a oxytorch and heating carbon steel to bend it, the "cry" is felt and heard (sounds creaky), this metal probably not crystalene, but might be "stringy" and can be observed if a bar is split/torn (its hard to do).— Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.185.19.179 (talk) 22:52, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
Didn't hear any "cry" in the video
[edit]When I played the video I didn't hear any "cry", only a "ticking" sound as the crystal planes rearranged. Did I miss something? It would be nice to have a video that actually has the "cry" on it. --ChetvornoTALK 04:37, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
