It's unfortunate that this article is entitled "Thomas Bertram" since that name is never used in Jane Austen's Mansfield Park. Most people searching for the father, "Sir Thomas Bertram" (who is much more significant in the novel) are likely to come to this page and be confused or disappointed. The son is always called "Tom Bertram". It would be useful to have an article on "Sir Thomas Bertram" and for this one to be renamed as "Tom Bertram".
