Chapter 2

[edit]

Why does the article go from Chapter 1 to Chapter 11? I assume the book has a Chapter 2. Wouldn't a note be appropriate or even something on the talk page? ( Martin | talkcontribs 01:50, 22 August 2012 (UTC))Reply
Chapter 2 - Local Society
Chapter 3 - Metrpolitan 400
Chapter 4 - The Celebrities
Chapter 5 - The Very Rich
Chapter 6- The Chief Executives
Chapter 7 - The Corporate Rich
Chapter 8 - The Warlords
Chapter 9 - The Military Ascendancy

Pretty worthless at this point. I'm going to move it here if anyone wants to source it and thinks it is important. Viriditas (talk) 23:50, 9 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Section follows:

In 2017, episode 5 of the Netflix TV series Mindhunter contains a scene in which one of the main characters, a sociology PhD student Deborah "Debbie" Mitford, writes a paper on The Power Elite. In the Noah Baumbach film While We're Young, the protagonist Josh Schrebnick is a documentarian who cites Mills, and frequently cites the expertise of the subject of his documentary, Ira Mandelstam's views as they relate to The Power Elite.
