Green Beret

The new Netflix documentary "Death in Monaco" raises questions about whether Maher was actually a Green Beret. Various sources have referred to him as a "former Green Beret" but with no indication that it was independently verified. Should it continue to be on this page? We should probably officially cast doubt on the Green Beret claims here due to this but there are some things which we could do in Ted’s favour, like mentioning either here or in the Lily Safra or Edmund Safra articles that after Edmund’s death the bodyguards, now in the employ of Lily and allegedly colluding with the police, allegedly threatened Ted’s wife with the loss of her passport thus potentially meaning she wouldn’t be able to see her children again and also the fact that a judge later admitted that the case was rigged by having the verdict predetermined (the source for all this being the very same “Death in Monaco” documentary).
