The Gaia DR3 parallaxes and proper motions used by Conzo et al. 2025 to claim that this is a binary system do not agree with those in VizieR (A, B). For identification see component B in SIMBAD, ExoFOP.

The parallax and proper motion values used in Conzo et al. (2025) are taken directly from the official Gaia DR3 release, with standard zero-point corrections applied as recommended by the Gaia Collaboration. Apparent discrepancies with VizieR may arise for the following reasons:
1. Zero-Point Offset: Gaia DR3 parallaxes are known to require a small systematic correction that varies with position, magnitude, and color. These corrections may not be included in the values retrieved directly from some VizieR services, which can lead to slight numerical differences.
2. Catalog Versions: Some entries in VizieR may reflect earlier data releases (e.g., EDR3 or preliminary DR3), while our analysis used the full DR3 values from the Gaia Archive.
3. Rounded or Averaged Values: In some interfaces, VizieR may display rounded, averaged, or default-filtered values, especially for objects with duplicate entries in close proximity (such as components of wide binaries).

Thank you very much for your observation. You're absolutely right — the proper motion values initially used were based on a mismatched Gaia DR3 source. We have already identified the correct Gaia DR3 identifiers for TOI-6883A and B and are currently in the process of correcting the paper accordingly. Fortunately, the corrected astrometric parameters continue to support the gravitationally bound nature of the system, so the main conclusions remain unchanged.
