Sukam Nextgen India

[edit]

This article had been updated to describe a separate company, Sukam Nextgen India, founded 24 Sep 2021, with Abhijeet Patel as a director. Rather than overwriting the existing article, would it be better to assess notability of the new company and start a separate article if appropriate? Courtesy ping: MB, JBW. Since the "new" company is apparently the successor of the "old" company having formed out of liquidation of the old company, it is appropriate to cover it here, but in a separate section. I agree that nothing in the existing article should be overwritten; it should be preserved as is. Coverage of the new company could be split out to a separate article in the future if this article becomes too large and the new company is independently notable. MB 15:26, 23 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. The IP editors seem to be adding credible information but in a way that overwrites text we want to keep. It's hard to communicate with them directly as the IPs change, but perhaps they will read this and add suitably sourced information in a new section instead. Certes (talk) 15:39, 23 July 2022

Liquidation process

[edit]

The Liquidation process has been completed, and the company has been taken over by the New Management as per the order of Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal, Principal Bench New Delhi. Please find attached the link stating the tribunal's order https://nclt.gov.in/gen_pdf.php?filepath=/Efile_Document/ncltdoc/casedoc/0710102010382017/04/Order-Challenge/04_order-Challange_004_1653050578167818752162878cd26c05d.pdf . As such this wikipedia page of Su-Kam Power Systems is also the property of the company. 'Suvastika or Sukam Nextgen India' have no authority to be the successor or subsidiary of Su-kam Power Systems Ltd. Both Suvastika and Sukam Nextgen India cannot have their instead mentions or links on this page. The required changes and new data have been published on this page, as mentioned the Su-kam Power Systems ltd has its own notable identity other than Sukam Nextgen India or Suvastika. The company's website is www.su-kampower.com . Yajan Bansal (Director, Su-Kam Power Systems Ltd) Yajanbansal (talk) 11:00, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

COI disclosure: Proposed update — Founder identity, NCLT liquidation, and post-2021 ownership change

[edit]

Conflict of interest disclosure: I am posting this on behalf of Kunwer Sachdev, the founder of Su-Kam Power Systems, as he has a conflict of interest in directly editing this article. This post is made in accordance with Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines, proposing changes for neutral editors to review and implement.

Proposed updates

[edit]

The article requires the following factual corrections and additions, all verifiable through reliable sources:

1. Founder credit: The article should clearly state that Su-Kam Power Systems was founded by Kunwer Sachdev in 1988. He built the company from a startup into one of India's leading power backup manufacturers.

2. NCLT insolvency and liquidation (2017–2021): In November 2017, SBI referred Su-Kam Power Systems to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) for insolvency proceedings due to accumulated debts of approximately ₹370 crore. The NCLT admitted the case in April 2018 and eventually passed a liquidation order, appointing Raj Kumar Ralhan as Liquidator. The company was auctioned and sold as a going concern. The NCLAT and subsequently the Supreme Court of India upheld the auction sale. Relevant case: Kunwer Sachdev vs. Su-Kam Power Systems Ltd. before NCLAT New Delhi .

3. Kunwer Sachdev's exit — no role after 2021: Following completion of the NCLT-supervised liquidation process, Kunwer Sachdev has had no ownership, management role, or any other involvement in Su-Kam Power Systems after 2021. Any association of his name with the company beyond historical context as founder is factually incorrect.

4. New management (post-2021): The company passed to new management through the auction process. As of March 2024, the company announced new Managing Directors: Vishnu Prakash Goyal, Rajneesh Bansal, Ashok Gupta, and Navraj Mittal. Source: Business Standard, March 2024.

These facts are well-documented in court records and press coverage. Neutral editors are requested to review and update the article accordingly. ~2026-20931-12 (talk) 01:17, 5 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
