Kkk membership

[edit]

The article states that Bernard Baruch assumed that his father Simon Baruch was a member of the KKK without any further evidence. But that sentence also cites a book that contains a letter from Simon Baruch to a known KKK member where Simon Baruch wrote "there is but one recourse when all is lost. I mean the sword. What boots is it to live under such tyranny, such moral and physical oppression when we can be much happier in consciousness of dying for such a cause".

Further more a number of jewish journalists invesitgated historic records in 1951 and proved that Simon Baruch was indeed a member of the KKK. https://www.nli.org.il/en/newspapers/amjwld/1951/08/24/01/article/57/?e=-------en-20--1--img-txIN%7CtxTI--------------1 50.123.180.74 (talk) 21:09, 31 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
