Greek name

Hello

I think the greek name of the town is not Σύρτη but Σίρτη. Σύρτη is name of the big gulf between Tunisia and Libya

I have removed some images from the gallery, which are nice to see, but are not according to WP:NOTIMAGE I'll try to insert the images of the gallery to sections where they fit better.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 10:21, 25 May 2020 (UTC)

Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 26 April 2026

Change 'Arabic: سِعِرْد, romanized: Veleye' back to 'Arabic: سِعِرْد, romanized: Si'ird' or another correct romanized standard. While Veleye is used to refer to the city by Siirt Arabs, it is an unrelated name to سِعِرْد. Veleye (or Welêye) can be mentioned in a footnote, deriving from وَلَاية. References for Welêye: M.
