Hadir?
[edit]The page Hadir is being used for disambiguation, and offers a link to this article. Nothing in the article about the binary star system σ Puppis mentions the name "Hadir". Either the disambiguation page needs to be changed, or "Hadir" needs to be referenced and sourced in this article. Yabopomonofonomopo bay (talk) 02:40, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
- The name Hadir is in SIMBAD, and I added a mention of it some months ago based on that, but there is an annotation in SIMBAD (from 2014) that strongly suggests this is another case of star-name citogenesis. In fact Hadir was the original title of this article, but was removed as fake as early as 2011. Since it is still in SIMBAD I'm not sure mention of it should be completely removed though. - The anonymous editor who created this article as Hadir also created a ton of other proper-name star stubs with reliable names, so there may be some use of this name somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Lithopsian (talk) 15:40, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
