Senator Jones (music industry)Senator Nolan Jones – Per WP:NATURALDIS. "Senator Jones" as a phrase is far more apt to turn up any number of Senators surnamed Jones; this subject, however, appears to frequently be referenced by his full name. Proposed merge from Hep-Me Records

[edit]

The record label, inextricably linked to Jones, has itself been a one line stub without substantial development in its 22 years of existence on Wikipedia. BD2412 T 14:50, 18 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

I provisionally support the merge, though there is enough writing on New Orleans record labels that there should be no prejudice against reestablishing the article should someone show up with further sourcing. Chubbles (talk) 13:18, 19 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
I would say it would be better to keep it and try updating it more, rather than to delete it. Senator Jones had a lot of labels and his article is not necessarily a good source when one wants to know more about Hep Me Records. There is too much noise for that there. Like Chubbles say, there are sources for this label, so if we are to update it with more information, we can. I will try that if it's kept.--Sumori (talk) 17:25, 21 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
I have done some updating of Hep-Me Records, Btw. I think it looks a lot better than what it was before, just good enough to forget about merging it to this article. Can we just finish this talk about possible merger? Thanks. Sumori (talk) 05:23, 3 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
I am satisfied that the record label can exist as its own article. Withdrawing the proposal now. BD2412 T 15:08, 3 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much! Sumori (talk) 02:14, 4 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
