Ahead of the 2026 Pakistan Super League, Ayub was signed by the newly established franchise Hyderabad (also known as Kingsmen Hyderabad) in the Platinum category for a record fee of PKR 12.6 crore (PKR 126 million), making him the most expensive Pakistani player in PSL history at the time.[1]
He joined Hyderabad after being released by Peshawar Zalmi, who retained Babar Azam ahead of the 2026 season.[2]
