Death of Marc Lee

The current wording of the article implies that Marc Lee stayed in the building that Ryan Job was shot in.

"Lee covered fire with an M60 machine gun while Kyle and another SEAL team member worked to carry Job down the steps of the building they were in. Lee was shot and killed as Kyle, Job and others evacuated the building".

There are two pieces of evidence that indicate Lee was killed in a different engagement on the same day.

- In the Marc Lee article it says "The team re-engaged the enemy force after the evacuation of Job. Lee was mortally wounded when he exposed himself a third time to draw fire from enemy forces away from his teammates."

- In "The Dichotomy of Leadership" chapter 1, Jocko Willink and Leif Babin recall re-engaging with the enemy by entering a different building where Marc was killed. Tgianit (talk) 03:29, 14 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
