Suggested reference for AC-556 as NFA on civilian market
[edit]Requesting citation here due to COI. Last sentence under Ruger_Mini-14#AC-556, suggesting this citation as proof that the AC-556 is still circulating on the civilian NFA market (item #20 on source's list):
"By that time, some models became available for private civilian purchase in the NFA market.[1][2]" LoVeloDogs (talk) 22:47, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Adding to this, another was sold on 30 June 2024 for $17,802.77 (items #8, #13, & #19 on https://www.gunbroker.com/c/article/25-most-expensive-guns-sold-on-gunbroker-in-june-2024/). This and the https://www.gunbroker.com/c/article/22-most-expensive-guns-sold-on-gunbroker-in-february-2024/ could also be used as references to the value of the models in civilian circulation. Clarification needed. Not all models variants have select fire
[edit]Variants sold to the Canadian market do not have select fire. Therefore, are not assault rifles. This should be clarified as this misinformation is being used to seize the legally obtained and owned property of Canadian owners under threat of deadly force and criminal sanctions without compensation. ~2026-15301-05 (talk) 22:42, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
shouldn't the utoya massacre be mentioned in the criminal use?
[edit]Anders Behring Breivik used the rifle in the massacre and I would assume that it falls under that term ~2026-40979-55 (talk) 16:10, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
Anders Breivik should be listed under criminal use
[edit]He's a pretty famous far right terrorist and he used it as his main weapon on his attack on Utoya island so I think he should be put there. ~2026-31718-21 (talk) 22:48, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
