sentence needs disambiguating

[edit]

This sentence is unclear : "Saw blade "grabbing" occurs more frequently during ripping than cross-cutting (cuts made to wood or stone across its main grain or axis)"

The current structure is : "event occurs more frequently during A than B (description)" but it is unclear if the description is of A or B.

The structure should be : "event occurs more frequently during A (description of A), than B (description of B)"

or

"event occurs more frequently during A (description of A), than B"

or

"event occurs more frequently during A, than B (description of B)"

Also some side notes :

The quote marks around "grabbing" are not needed. There is no difference between grabbing and "grabbing".

There is no need to mention "to wood or stone". ~2025-32948-05 (talk) 23:57, 11 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
