Incomplete
[edit]The de-linking here is improper.Infactinteresting (talk) 19:51, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hi - Please see WP:REDLINK and WP:WRITEITFIRST which explains why we do not use redlinks in lists. Thanks. Dormskirk (talk) 19:50, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
Financial difficulties
[edit]A new editor (Vector4321) keeps removing properly sourced information about the company's financial difficulties. It looks as if it could be "conflict of interest" editing to me. Dormskirk (talk) 17:18, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
- Another editor (OsirisGDR) has now also removed properly sourced information about the company's financial difficulties and has replaced it with a long quotation from the CEO. It looks as if it could be "conflict of interest" editing by multiple parties now. Dormskirk (talk) 22:46, 26 October 2023 (UTC)

Promotional first 4 paragraphs
[edit]The first 4 paragraphs, added by RCM2025 on March 18, read like some promotional material coming from a press release; especially the phrasing "RMG is leading [...] company launches today", and the 4th paragraph "Recognition is well positioned for future growth and deliver superior returns to its investors". I think the previous version was already accurate.
I've not been able to find the press release from BlackRock/RMG, except from this website which lists the press release: https://www.recordoftheday.com/news-and-press/recognition-music-group-launched.
Meta: new user here, I'm not sure how to properly mark only 4 paragraphs as "promotional material": the {{Promotion}} template is not applicable to the full article; the {{Promotional section}} doesn't work well with the intro section (it looks like it applies to the whole article), it's not limited to only 4 paragraphs (please correct me if I'm wrong ;-) ), and the text doesn't directly sell an article to the reader; and {{Promotion inline}} is a bit too precise. - Agreed and removed. Thanks, Dormskirk (talk) 20:54, 30 March 2025 (UTC)
Composition of the portfolio formerly held by the company.
[edit]An editor has now removed details of the former portfolio of the company three times. I am well aware that the portfolio has been sold but the listing is still a valuable record of the titles that were held by the company. Dormskirk (talk) 14:20, 28 July 2026 (UTC)
