Request to change Babymetal's misleading genre

Article describes Babymetal as a japanese rock band. The band has always identified themselves and has been widely viewed as metal, specifically kawaii metal, a fusion of J-pop and heavy metal, as Babymetal's wiki page correctly states. Describing it as rock therefore makes little sense and is also inconsistent with Babymetal's own page. JimmySull (talk) 13:12, 30 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

I found this interview with Babymetal and Electric Callboy in Rolling Stone Japan where they talk about the production of the song. Unfortunately, my Japanese is way too bad for translating this article. --Goroth (talk) 06:25, 16 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
