"his mother was a sewing machine operator"

[edit]

I believe we call such an operator a seamstress! Please update... :)  Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.109.47.125 (talk) 00:26, 21 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Apologies

[edit]

I just want to apoloigize about signing this article when I started it. I was new to Wikipedia and not very knowledgeable about the conventions. --chemica 02:14, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

A story from a possible would be victim

I know that it is a highly non-RS but makes a good read. Zezen (talk) 06:06, 2 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

NPOV?

[edit]

Should there be quotes around "medical" in Kraft's discharge from the armed forces? This seems to suggest he was unfairly discharged. While this is by no means impossible, I think that unless there's some proof of this the quotes should be removed. --Zhouzhenning 02:00, 18 March 2007 (UTC)  Done Was the term used in the reference (p. 22)--Kieronoldham (talk) 05:28, 21 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Photo of Victim

[edit]

Hi, I think it would be worthwhile to discuss whether it is appropriate for this article to include a photograph Kraft took of one the men he murdered. The photo features the victim either unconscious or deceased.

Personally I feel this photograph is not appropriate, as it feels disrespectful to the victim and, in my opinion, does not add any educational/informational value that outweighs the victim's right to not be displayed in this manner.

I would welcome others' views. Fluorescent Jellyfish (talk) 01:28, 10 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

I can understand the concept of sensitivity, but the non-graphic image (of a clothed individual in a non-suggestive position) has been published in many reputable, non-glorifying formats elsewhere. (There are at least two other images of Loggins printed internationally which haven't been uploaded here.) The image was presented in evidence at Kraft's trial. Illustrates evidence as well as his method of operation to bring the victims under his control, and not used in a gratuitous manner. (You can look online at disrespectful ways images of Regina Kay Walters have been uploaded.)--Kieronoldham (talk) 01:52, 10 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Facility transfer

[edit]

The CDCR Public Inmate Locator Disclaimer states that Kraft was transferred from San Quentin to the California Institution for Men. MaxMalrey (talk) 03:58, 3 August 2025 (UTC)  Done. Thanks.--Kieronoldham (talk) 20:25, 3 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
