Important:- Regarding showing wrong caste information. We belong to Bhar caste. Which is today addressed as Rajbhar caste. The word Raj is used in Atma Samaan. It is a humble request to Shri Maan ji that Rajbhar/Bhar is a government fighting Raj Kshatriya caste. Please remove the word Mazdoor. The word Mazdoor is hurting our Atma Samaan. And action should be taken against such people who are defaming Wikipedia to insult each other. It will be a great favor from Shri Maan ji.Important:- Regarding showing wrong caste information. The Rajbhars are Nagavanshi Kshatriyas and also had a few rulers like Suheldev, Lakhan Rajbhar etc. Suheldev is particularly famous to have killed commander of Mahmud Ghori named Salar Masud whose grave is also there in Bahraich. The caste has some practices unique to itself that were introduced during Muslim rule in India. For example they do ritual killing of pig after the birth of son and also put an amulet filled with pig ashes so Muslims will stay away from them. During Medieval times they fled to forests due to Islamic conquest and the Rajbhar being very conservative didn't want to convert nor made any marital alliance with the Muslims to remain in power. During this time they started engaging in criminal activities as they despised any form of subjugation. This continued even during British rule who listed Rajbhars as criminal tribes. As Nagavanshi Kshatriyas, Rajbhars too don't kill snakes and believe it is their protector and worship snakes. Prorated bihar (talk) 08:18, 26 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not done: you need to provide reliable and verifiable source for each of the statements mentioned above; read WP:RS, WP:V! Ekdalian (talk) 12:54, 26 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
You can refer the link https://socialjustice.gov.in/writereaddata/UploadFile/Draft%20List%20of%20Denotified%20Tribes%20for%20Mail.pdf
on page 50 Bhar (also known as Rajbhar) is listed as Criminal Tribe in UP. But in Bihar they are not.
About the claim that they are Kshatriya: https://archive.org/details/cu31924024065470/page/38/mode/2up?view=theater&ui=embed&wrapper=false Prorated bihar (talk) 06:02, 28 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Your first source is a government one, and I don't understand what change would you like to propose based on that! Please note that we prefer modern scholarly work by reliable authors in caste articles; also, we don't accept Raj era source, read WP:RAJ! Your second source is a Raj era source, which is not acceptable as mentioned above. Thanks. Ekdalian (talk) 08:00, 28 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
I might have missed in the linked article, but can you point out why do you not accept Raj era sources?
Also one of the article accepted as citation is this one: https://www.files.ethz.ch/isn/195075/ISAS%20Working%20Paper%20No.%20215.%20%E2%80%98Saffronisation%E2%80%99%20among%20the%20Dalits%20of%20North%20India.pdf
If you read it, is not evidence or statistics based article. It is in fact a very opinionated commentary full of anti-India and anti-Hindu rhetoric. Prorated bihar (talk) 08:22, 28 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Rajbhar being Nagavanshi Kshatriya and their King Suheldev finds mention in the following academic paper: https://gsmp.in/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/12-7.pdf Prorated bihar (talk) 09:18, 28 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
The author is simply talking about claims by the community! You need to find better source for the same if you want to mention the caste as Nagavanshi Kshatriya. Regarding Raj era source, I have already shared the link; all I can say is there's a community consensus not to use Raj era source! Ekdalian (talk) 12:49, 28 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

how can you told this Rajbhar are bharshivgive me some evidence ~2026-28565-04 (talk) 04:52, 12 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Rajbhar is a sirname used by Bhar people, Bhar is the corrupted form of Bharshiv and Bharshiv were ancient naga ruler between 150ce-400ce, Bhar people were kshatriy ruler in medieval time also and after British era they were in criminal tribe act and after freedom they were kept under Habitual offenders or denotified tribe list from 1952-1993 and in present time they are contributing in different places and some are very poor too, history of Bhar kshatriy are mentioned in oudh gazetteer and different districts gazetteer of Uttar Pradesh

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Day Creature (talk) 14:07, 14 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

The detail about Rajbhar caste is completely a misleading you can check district gazetteers of oudh they aren't traditionally labourer, some of them are labourers nowadays but Bhar/Rajbhar were kshatriya Kishan singh Bharshiv (talk) 14:37, 14 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
