Article review
[edit source]It has been a while since this article was reviewed, so I took a look and noticed lots of orange banners. There are also lots of short, one sentence paragraphs. Should this article go to WP:GAR? Z1720 (talk) 23:32, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
- I'm the one who caused most of said banners and one sentence paragraphs. Yes, I agree with a GAR.
- The article seems to attract very little editors to the point where most additions i've seen among the 2 years of my watchlisting are updates on new product releases. 海盐沙冰 / aka irisChronomia / Talk 06:10, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- @IrisChronomia: Would you be interested in bringing this to GAR? You can probably explain the concerns moreo effectively than me. Z1720 (talk) 14:50, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Z1720 Surely. I'm on my mood right now so might have some delay before my post; rest assured I'll be there. 海盐沙冰 / aka irisChronomia / Talk 16:56, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- @IrisChronomia: Still interested in bringing this to GAR? Z1720 (talk) 02:17, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry for my procrastination, I struggle to write anything long enough for a thread.
- I think the tl;dr is that the subject of this article is not notable to the level of significance that would warrant a GA-level of coverage - not enough RS cared about Snapdragon for us to cite. Most of the coverage on the subject are basically skin-deep product descriptions and in-depth technical / microarchitectual discussions are frequently about the underlying technologies instead of the product themselves, e.g., the CPU microarchitectures that Qualcomm purchased from ARM and pasted into their chips. 海盐沙冰 / aka irisChronomia / Talk 03:06, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
- *I'll probably just respond here with multiple comments and then copy-paste them to a new GAR thread. 海盐沙冰 / aka irisChronomia / Talk 03:08, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
- I still remember this article, I just can't get myself to write on it. Everytime I try my personal bias and emotions against the company gets the better of me, and the impulse of writing down personal opinions drowns out every other thought.
- So... I'm sorry, for not having the ability to write down my thoughts and bring this article to GAR noticeboard. I'll try, though. 海盐沙冰 / aka irisChronomia / Talk 13:16, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
