Is it known WHY it is called "pepper..." when it does not necessarily contain ANY of the various fruits/spices which can be called pepper(s) (from many hot tasting dried fruits/seeds/herbs to even mild bell peppers)? ~2026-38984-79 (talk) 14:28, 9 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
