Occurrence in Voynich Manuscript is only a guess.
[edit]I removed this sentence because the "identification" of palmierite in the Voynich Manuscript was only a "possibly" guess by the McCrone lab, based only on the presence of traces of potassium, sulfur, and lead in a reddish ochre paint. It was not a positive detection of the mineral. Considering the rarity and extreme environment of palmierite in nature, its occurrence in a medieval manuscript is extremely unlikely.
- Its presence was detected in the Voynich manuscript.[1]
