Q1. Why is the article's name "Nauru" and not "Naoero"?
Although the Nauruan government has adopted the name "Naoero", Nauru remains the common name used in reliable sources. Until a substantial number of recent sources consistently use "Naoero", Wikipedia will continue using the established common name. Wikipedia follows common usage rather than official names.
This issue may be revisited in the future, but any renewed request to rename the article should take previous discussions into account and be supported by substantial evidence demonstrating that common usage in reliable sources has changed.
