Single medium

[edit]

In some french documents, NATO single medium is defined as 120 mm @ 60° MadestCat (talk) 17:44, 23 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Angles

[edit]

Are the angles from the vertical or from the horizontal? Are the only for the first plate or all three? 173.73.0.102 (talk) 01:35, 15 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

From vertical, so 0 degrees would be a perpendicular impact, and 89 degrees would be a ricochet with anything other than certain shaped charge and HE shells, with well made graze fuzes. Dominic 41 (talk) 23:55, 19 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

kp/mm^2 has got to be wrong

[edit]

412 kp/mm^2 equals 584 ksi. Most workable steels top out at 140-180ksi and maraging steels about double that at 350ksi. Over 550 ksi? 152.32.112.27 (talk) 04:54, 29 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
