Spelling and grammar note

This article has strong ties to Belize. Per MOS:TIES it uses standard formal written English as used in this country, which for encyclopedia purposes is very similar to British English.

Remember to follow MOS:COMMONALITY and MOS:CONSISTENT.

Merger proposal with Mayanism, Aug 07

[edit]
Have now removed the merge tag, it's been a week or so and no comments in favour. --cjllw ʘ TALK 00:07, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Inappropriate Punctuation

[edit]

"Stephen Houston [born 1958] Holding a Phd. from Yale, Dr. Houston is an Epigrapher extraordinaire!"
The exclamation point is intended to express an opinion, which is inappropriate (with regard to value judgment) and silly.

Thanks for bringing this to attention. That was part of a series of sometimes idiosyncratic and verbose descriptions added by an anon editor that IMO remained in the article too long. I have edited the descriptions. Infrogmation (talk) 02:10, 12 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Three out of four paragraphs were about the word 'Mayanist'! I combined them. —Tamfang (talk) 20:29, 15 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
