"Identification" section nonsensical phrasing

Maybe I'm silly and this makes sense, I'm here because I find the word macroptopus funny. I've a feeling I'm probably part of an above zero minority here, and even aside from the quoted text that I dont have the knowledge to correct, what I've managed to read before rage quitting due to my inability to properly comprehend it has been of generally low quality in terms of phrasing.

But what do I know?
