Overall: Articles are long enough. Agree that we can accept these as within the timeframe. Copyvio tool finds no issues. Not keen on "first" hooks, and noting that Guinness is not generally considered a reliable source, but given that we are emphasizing her official recognition rather than making the claim ourselves I think it's fine under WP:PRIMARY. @Beejamjam, Launchballer, and Crisco 1492: Pulled this from queue. I'm seeing whole sentences that appear lifted from sources. For example, in TRUK, "transmasculine team [...] played against the Dulwich Hamlet F.C. Supporters Team, also at Champion Hill with 500 supporters watching." is highly similar to "... transmasculine team played against the Dulwich Hamlet FC Supporters Team. This match again took place at Champion Hill in London with over 500 supporters watching ..." from the source. There are several more in both articles, which makes me suspect even the phrases that aren't being highlighted in Earwig could be closely paraphrased. —TechnoSquirrel69 (talk) 23:42, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Oh, gosh. I was of the belief that I wasn't closely paraphrasing, and was perhaps overconfident that I could properly use the info in a new way, but clearly took my eye off the ball. On second thought, having had a look over both articles and checking for any close paraphrasing, I could only find very scant close aside from the quote mentioned, most of it falling (I believe) under WP:LIMITED. I'd of course encourage a third opinion on that front. For avoidance of doubt, I've rephrased a few sentences including the one quoted. Thanks for getting started on those, Beejamjam. I'm still seeing pretty long phrases highlighted in the reports for Clark and TRUK, which show exact matches with the source, and comparing the other sources shows more matches.
