Didn't we just find out we passed through this cloud 2-3mya, and maybe it gave us hydrogen enough to muck around with conditions, therefore with our earliest hominid evolution? Somebody gotta update. 96.20.111.52 (talk) 22:15, 18 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

At 3,000 atoms per cubic centimeter, the particle density is much too low to significantly impact conditions on Earth. However, the density is higher than the solar wind at Earth's orbit, so perhaps there were spectacular aurorae? Praemonitus (talk) 03:10, 11 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
