The result of the move request was: Not moved. Having closed 3-4 RMs of this kind, let me reiterate: it is disputed that conventions of WP:TV should apply to WP:ANIME, and the one that List of Foo episodes must be split from a Foo (TV series) is particularly contested. No particular gain for the readers has been identified. Repeatedly requesting moves trying to impose that particular convention is borderline disruptive. A reasonable case has been made to shorten the title to List of Re:Zero episodes etc, but a separate RM should be held about that should anyone like it. No such user (talk) 13:27, 14 July 2021 (UTC)

• Support - Like many other similar articles, the content has grown beyond a simple list of episodes to now include production details, broadcast history, etc. such that this is properly presented as a TV series overview. The rename will encourage additional formatting changes and allow more information to be included. Also, the raw list of episodes is largely redundant with the season 1 and season 2 articles. -- Netoholic @ 16:17, 15 June 2021 (UTC)

• Oppose: This article is a list episode and an extension of the original article. This list itself is not sufficient enough to stand as its own main article if it was renamed to "TV series" and I'm afraid that by doing so, it's at risk of being merged to the original article (making it too long). Relevency of "Characters in order of appearance "

@GalaxyFighter55: I think the "Characters in order of appearance" section is unneeded triva. The main series episodes don't have such a column. Any reason why they should be included? Olliefant (she/her) 05:17, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

Both points make no sense, the medium isn't relevant here (If they were webisodes or DVD extras would it be different?) and this is enwiki not jpwiki. Is there any enwiki policy or MOS guideline for it? Olliefant (she/her) 05:33, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

Neither of those specifically says anything about this situation but from the first: "merely being true, or even verifiable, does not automatically make something suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia" Why is the character list suitable for inclusion?. Wouldn't you say episode staff listings could be considered WP:TRIVIA? How is trivialism defined here exactly? I'm willing to work with you on this, but you've got to give me a stronger argument for its removal than this. GalaxyFighter55 (talk) 06:03, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

Staff listings aren't trivial. MOS:TVEPISODE (paragraph two specifically) lists what is needed for these tables. The various articles in Category:FL-Class Episode coverage articles don't include character listing. Olliefant (she/her) 06:43, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

Im familiar with Alex21, but I entirely disagree with "we should go with his take", if we're soliciting outside opinions wouldn't it be better to turn to WikiProject Television or WikiProject Anime and Manga? Olliefant (she/her) 07:56, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

He's one of the most knowledgeable individuals I know here. I trust his opinions. Who knows, he'll probably side with you on this. @Alex 21: Since you are the go-to individual when it comes to TV media articles, I wanted to get your two cents on this discussion. Do character listings fall under WP:INDISCRIMINATE and WP:TRIVIA, and should be removed from the shorts' episode table? There's no specific transcript in either of these on how to handle this. @Olliefant: Yeah, I suppose we can remove the character appearance sections since he didn't reply. I know for a fact that he saw my ping, but for whatever reason he decided not to respond. On a related note, please stop using MOS:COLHEAD as justification for removing the parts headers on season articles. That MOS does not apply to episode tables. In fact, there's an entire document literally covering these headers as a functioning part of the template. Not even including that fact, you are committing WP:DISRUPTIVE editing in these edits by also reverting improvements not even related to that. --GalaxyFighter55 (talk) 19:40, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

Episodes subsection

For seasons 2, 3, and the upcoming season 4, a separate table is used for each part of the each season. It looks bad and doesn't improve the article's readability, comprehension, or presentation in any way. Both tables for each season have the same parameters, the same references, the same style, and the same color. So I don't see why we would need two tables instead of simply using {{Episode table/part}}. Was this agreed upon by consensus? --Franar8 (talk) 17:37, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
