My Evaluation of the Article

Although this article provides some useful information and is well referenced, it is inadequate in organization and content. The presentation is understandable because the different topics are broken up into separate paragraphs. With this considered, there are still no headings or table of contents to assist in the viewing process. There is an introduction to this article. It properly defines lipolysis and gives other important details, but it fails to properly summarize the article. After the introduction, the material of the article is lacking focus and feels erratic from paragraph to paragraph. For instance, in the introduction it mentions lipolysis occurs in adipose tissue while in the second paragraph it mentions lipolysis occurs in the blood without connecting those two pieces of information within the context of whole body lipid metabolism. The article covers the material partially and sporadically. There are details missing, for example, the molecular mechanism by which lipolysis occurs and specificity of the location of lipolysis within the body as well as within the cell. The single image provided is a helpful diagram that shows epinephrine's effects on lipolysis.

The facts are emphasized and properly cited throughout and no assumptions are made. All facts appear to be true and come from sources that show evidence. The sources used are all from reputable sources. The references section contains only published primary literature, review articles, and a textbook. How does this affect blood tests?

If someone is given epinephrine, or epinephrine is elevated for other reasons like scared or stressed, how can the effects be measured with blood tests for triglycerides, LDL etc?

Removal of section Lipogenesis, and rerate to Start class

Lipogenesis is irrelevant to this topic. It's views are limited, such as in the "Regulation" section, the mechanisms presented are only those of animals(plants that make and use fat...? are not mentioned).
