Reworked the article
[edit]I changed large parts of the article. I felt that it was mainly based on fiction whereas there are real world appliances of laser fences. I reduced some parts to the basic facts. --Duff06 (talk) 22:16, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

[edit]I think the article should not be in the following categories: Force lasers | Fringe physics | Ufology
The category force lasers is used for different type of articles. Fringe physics, well we could leave it in here but i think "science fiction weapons" is a better fit. I can't see any connection to ufology! --Duff06 (talk) 10:23, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
