Plane of satellites
[edit]I need help navigating balance for information about the satellite-disk problem.
- I found another reference on the Milky Way, but it is unclear how the simulation used is different from the ones that produced the satellite-disk problem.
- There are claims of similar distributions of satellites around spiral galaxies beyond the Local Group, such as Centaurus A, that need to be integrated to the section.[1][2]
- Kanehisa et al. (2025) found that the distribution of dwarf galaxies around the Andromeda Galaxy is in strong tension with ΛCDM.[3]

Infinite universe
[edit]Does the model assume a flat geometry and infinite spatial universe? No mention in the article. In a physics forum I found "The full details of the model are always being refined, but the part about the universe being spatially infinite is pretty solid, referring to this article but it's not there. - Well, that is why we don't consider "a physics forum" to be a WP:reliable source. An infinite spatial universe is irrelevant to this model as far as I know. If you have a source on this that would make a difference. Johnjbarton (talk) 03:04, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
Define Omega_M before usage
[edit]I have noticed that Ω_M is not defined before its usage in an equation, or right afterwards. While Ω_x is described with different values for x, this doesn't include 'm' (for the total matter density). ~2026-41019-65 (talk) 09:45, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
Lambda-CDM model definition
