Turkish kutuk?

[edit]

There is no such word in Turkish. There is a word kütük, which however does not mean "familiar". It is a noun with the basic meaning "log" ("tree trunk"). It can also be used figuratively for a boorish person, possibly someone who has drunk much too much.  --Lambiam 15:31, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
