I am a paid editor (see my user page for disclosure). I request the following addition to the "Academic work" section, alongside his other honours:

On 22 September 2026, Chon was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (honoris causa) by Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.^[1]

The source is the official news page of Prince of Songkla University, which lists "Professor Dr.Kaye Chon" as receiving an honorary Doctor of Philosophy (ปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์). An English-language source is expected soon and I will add it here when available.

Thank you for reviewing. Abdulwahab1337 (talk) 14:30, 24 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

As mentioned above, an English-language source is now available: an independent news report in TravelDailyNews Asia & Pacific.^[1] It confirms that Prince of Songkla University conferred an honorary doctorate on Prof. Chon.
