Removing the {{Notability}} tag (May 2025)
[edit]The {{Notability}} tag was added on 11 May 2025 by IP 80.71.143.67 without an edit summary; that IP's contribution log shows this was their only mainspace edit on the project. At the moment the tag was placed the article already cited, among others, The Wall Street Journal,[1] The New York Times,[2] USA Today, Fortune,[3] Cosmopolitan, Glamour, and the Sun-Sentinel. Per WP:GNG this is significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources, and McCue's status as the first American woman to command a modern "mega" cruise ship is independently confirmed by several of those sources. I have removed the tag accordingly. Sparks19923 (talk) 08:34, 8 May 2026 (UTC)
