The statement "His most recent appointment is as Head of Elite Football and player development in Taiwan" is unsourced and has been removed. A reference has been added but this does not mention Ali (It does mention Ali as in Judan Ali please check the article more in depth and more importantly, is from a rolling news service showing most recent news. Any info shown today will have 'rolled out of sight' in a few weeks. Please provide a reference which can be verified from a reliable source --Egghead06 (talk) 19:51, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

I have made my first ever Wikipedia edit on this page - hope it is OK. I removed unreferenced allegation of lack of inclusivity by senior football figures.

Fake Page

Thanks for noticing this. I've been looking into this since my recent note on your talk page RE La Masia, and there are clearly major issues with this page.

The source cited for "He then had a spell at the La Masia Academy of Barcelona. His experiences there eventually influenced his coaching philosophy." actually says:

"Details of Ali's football credentials are sketchy, though having been brought up by Indian-born parents in London's Brick Lane he did have a role in the Arsenal youth ranks in the 1980s. When that ended, letters requesting trials at clubs as far removed as Plymouth Argyle and Carlisle United then came to nothing. Ali is said to have given up on England and spent time at Barcelona's La Masia academy. There are reports of him gaining qualifications there and of him working at Murcia. Those could not be validated last night"

Additionally, 7 out of the top 8 contributors to this page (everyone except for @Hack) have edited exclusively on this topic and collectively they have contributed the majority of text on this page. Several of those users have already been banned for abuse of multiple accounts.

Every citation will need to be verified. I assume the page will at least need to be entirely rewritten and may need to be proposed again for deletion on notability grounds.

A good portion of the citations used here no longer exist or are inaccessible, as far as I know. Some others have little to do with Judan himself, some are misconstrued (Judan was never head of development for Midtjylland, rather he was for FC Ebedei, who is affiliated with Midtjylland). Besides, the way some of the sentences are written seems exaggerated (Messi, David Raya, Johan Cruyff, and PS TNI to name a few), odd ("the Volcanic Islands of Iceland"), unrelated, or maybe even promotional at times.

Not only that, some articles (FC Hegelmann, FC Midtjylland) were edited to add him for some reason, despite not being notable in any way. I have removed some of them on the grounds of notability and unreliable sources for now. Snookums (talk) 05:56, 6 August 2026 (UTC)

Agreed on a big rewrite and cut of promotional content, this article on his rumoured links with Blackburn directly references the fact that his past is unclear:
