Fair use rationale for Image:IsraelDiscountBank.jpg

[edit]

Image:IsraelDiscountBank.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Category

[edit]

This bank is operating in occupied territories, this cat is perfectly suited for the article: --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 22:11, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

The category is about to be deleted. You created it in the middle of the deletion process of an identical category with two words rearranged. That category is gone. This one will follow. Stop causing drama at this article. Breein1007 (talk) 22:15, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
Why it not legitimate category? What wrong with it? It state truth and no more. Be there some thing editors not want whole world to see, is that editors want it be delete?? Ani medjool (talk) 22:18, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
I have been asked not to respond to your comments anymore in the way that my natural instincts tell me to respond. So rather than giving anybody anything more to use against me, I'm just going to smile. :) Breein1007 (talk) 22:20, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
So if you choose not state why it not valid, then is because WP:IDONTLIKEIT? This not reason to delete category. Ani medjool (talk)
WP:IDONTLIKEIT? Not quite. Close though. :) I have made it very clear why this category is inappropriate and that it was created in bad faith. And now I will be leaving, because this is a waste of my time. No point for this drama; the category is going to be deleted soon anyway. Breein1007 (talk) 22:28, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

not so sure yet. Only anti-palestine editor speak so far. Maybe other view different and see need for category. Ani medjool (talk)

Hello Diannaa is this articale and particularly the images in compliance with copyright Flamingoflorida (talk) 18:44, 22 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • The logo File:DiscountBank.svg is simple enough to not enjoy copyright protection. The other two logos are tagged as fair use, but I don't think they actually meet the threshold of originality to enjoy copyright protection either.
  • File:PikiWiki Israel 6263 Tel - Aviv at night.JPG in the infobox has been here since 2009 and does not appear to have any copyright issues.
  • File:Idb-nyc.jpg has been here since 2008 and does not appear to have any copyright issues.
  • Checking the prose, I found nothing untoward, but I am unable to state for sure there's no issues, since the prose could have been translated from copyright sources in Hebrew. I have no way of checking for that kind of problem. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 18:54, 22 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

This text wasnt generated by AI at all! @Day Creature עומר תשבי (talk) 18:20, 16 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
I find that extremely unlikely, as it displays multiple signs of AI writing, including overuse of boldface, inline-header vertical lists, and markdown formatting, as well as the use of Template:request edit instead of Template:edit COI. Wikipedia editors are highly experienced in spotting these signs of AI use and will almost always be able to detect it. Day Creature (talk) 19:20, 16 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Though you find it unlikely, I created the list of additions/revision in a back-and-forth process with my client. All of of the requested changes are backed by supporting sources. Why not just review them as they are? @Day Creature עומר תשבי (talk) 05:53, 17 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

The citation style predominantly used by the Israel Discount Bank article is Citation Style 1 (CS1). The citation style used in the edit request consists of bare URL's.[a] Any requested edit of yours which may be implemented will need to resemble the current style already in use in the article – in this case, CS1. (See WP:CITEVAR.) In the extended section below titled Citation style, I have illustrated two examples: one showing how the edit request was submitted, and another showing how requests should be submitted in the future:
  • Kindly submit a new, properly formatted edit request below this reply post at your earliest convenience, taking care to ensure that it makes use of CS1. If you have any questions about this formatting please don't hesitate to ask myself or another editor.

Notes

  1. The use of bare URLs as references is a style which is acceptable for use in Wikipedia. However, general practice dictates that the style already in use for an article be the one that is subsequently used for all future additions unless changed by editorial consensus.[1]
