Theater/ Temple

Tremont Theatre, Boston view of the temple

I removed this photo (which I had added earlier) because it looks to me like it was redesigned and/or rebuild by Clarence Blackall and opened on 1896. A description of the original Theatre makes it seem that it was more traditionally classical in appearance. Perhaps there is an archival photo floating out there somewhere... Page 136 of Bacon's Dictionary of Boston discusses it a bit . ChildofMidnight (talk) 02:10, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request for citation or removal of unsourced family information

[edit]

Hello editors,

I’m writing to request review of the recently added information stating that Isaiah Rogers was married to Emily Wesley Tobey and had eight children (four surviving infancy, two sons becoming architects).

I have checked the current article references and found no primary source (e.g. marriage record, census entry, probate record, contemporary obituary) supporting these claims. Furthermore, this information appears to have been added in a single edit during June 2025 after years of no such content being present on this page.

Under Wikipedia’s verifiability and reliable sourcing policies, I believe this material should either be supported by a high-quality source or removed. I welcome any sources others may have to support these details.

Thank you for your attention to improving the accuracy of this article. Tugboat1020 (talk) 08:03, 28 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
