I am interested in adding more information to this page. From my research, there appears to be a good amount of information about IL-31 ranging from its function to how it is being studied clinically. I'd like to expand the lead , function, and clinical significance sections. I may also add a section depending on what I find in my research. I'm also considering adding an image to the page.

dorsal root ganglia

The source used for the information regarding increased expression in dorsal root ganglia (DRG) 'of different tissues' seems to have a misunderstanding of its own source for that information that made its way into this article. (https://www.jacionline.org/article/S0091-6749(05)02327-4/fulltext) (discussion paragraph 7) The DRG are independent structures of spinal nerves adjacent to the spinal cord. They contain nerve fibers that send pain, itch and other signals to the brain. The text here seems to imply that they are distributed throughout many tissues in the body which is incorrect.
